SILVER AT HKIFF

James Lee’s latest film ‘Call If You Need Me’ – where I play lead – just won Silver in the Digital Competition at Hong Kong International Film Festival against a very tough field from all over Asia.

Here’s one of the scenes from the movie…

This is my third time working with James – and I think this is his best film yet. Other than getting good performance out of his ensemble cast this time, the film also engages the audience in a way never before seen in a James Lee film. During the screenings at HKIFF, some folks cried – which must be the first time ever that has ever happened in a James Lee film. Anyway, I think it will do very well in the festival circuit. Several major festivals have already made enquiries about including it in their competitive programs this year.
